Strategic Communications Leader | Media Strategy | Public Sector Storytelling

I am a communications strategist with more than a decade of experience helping public institutions and mission-driven organizations communicate clearly with the communities they serve.

My work spans executive communications, media relations, digital campaigns, and narrative strategy for education systems, nonprofits, and public agencies. I specialize in translating complex policies, programs, and institutional priorities into clear messaging that builds public trust.

Currently, I serve as Communications Manager for Oakland Unified School District, one of California’s largest public school systems, where I advise executive leadership and lead communications for initiatives reaching more than 35,000 students, families, and staff.

Across my career, I have partnered with leadership teams, educators, nonprofits, and community organizations to develop communications that inform the public, strengthen engagement, and support mission-driven work.
